The Wright Stuff team

This morning: does lotto lout Mickey Carroll deserve the dole after blowing his £10m winnings in just eight years? Plus: let's make long winter nights a thing of the past says Gordon Brown and scrap Greenwich Mean Time - it's a thought isn't it. And who would you rather be: a young-looking Sir Cliff or a wrinkly old Mick Jagger? That's today's Wright Stuff - with special guest Iwan Thomas.

First, we'll be looking at whether we'd be better off scrapping GMT and having British summer time all year round, as Gordon Brown's suggested. It would be a boom for tourism as venues would be able to open later, he says. True, but rather than abandon Greenwich Mean Time why doesn't Johnny foreigner buy an alarm clock and get up earlier?

After that it's Iwan with the rest of today's headlines.

Our first phone-in: Does the lotto lout Michael Carroll who blew his £10m fortune on drugs and whores in just eight years deserve the dole? Having wasted his winnings he's now got his hands on our money - and I can't think of less-deserving case - can you? Doesn't the dole for someone like Carroll undermine any sense of personal responsibility? Give us a call.

After that: Does everyone act like a child when they're with their parents? A 40-year-old woman told the Sunday times this weekend how she can't spend more than a couple of hours with her mum before turning into a surly teen. Me too - and most of the Wright Stuff team. But why? Is it because they still talk to you like a child? Maybe you'd like to behave that way with everyone - but only feel free to play up when you're with mum or dad?

And finally: Young like Cliff or old like Mick. They reckon Sir Cliff Richard has the peter pan gene, which explains why the 69-year-old looks so fresh-faced. Jagger hasn't. But who would you rather be? If we're all obsessed with staying young as the papers say, then you're gonna say Cliff. But I can't think of anything worse...
