Episode 9: La Ronde
With their relationship still on the rocks, Hank and Karen agree to Friday night dates. Hank accompanies Janie Jones to an art show - only to discover that the owner of the gallery is none other than Julian, the over-friendly boyfriend of pregnant Sonja. Across town, Lew Ashby has become newly enamoured with Karen and whisks her off for a private musical performance. Surprised by the music exec's thoughtful gesture, Karen nevertheless resists his amorous advances.
Daisy fills in at waxing salon Hot Lips for Marcy while she attempts to break her drug dependency in rehab. Charlie remains confused and guilt-ridden about going to bed with Daisy, but the porn star reassures him that she knows it can never happen again. Still, Charlie is dejected when Daisy goes on a date with another man.
After his rendezvous, Hank surprises Karen on her doorstep. Unable to deny their feelings for each other, they end up in bed together. But then, as the couple are clasped in a post-coital embrace, Karen makes a potentially deadly discovery.
