T-Bag's terrorised cellmate commits suicide, having been framed for Bob's murder. Michael is racked with guilt. He could have done something to help. When T-Bag sets his sights on new inmate Tweener, who seems to be straying towards the wrong coloured gang, Michael seizes the opportunity to protect him.

Undercover, Veronica and Nick talk to the widow of the murdered Terence Steadman. It transpires that Steadman was about to be charged with committing fraud, giving all the energy company's investors a motive for his murder. As Kellerman and Hale close in on LJ, he inadvertently leads them to the lawyers.

When Bellick's interference causes Abruzzi's bribes from the outside to dry up, mob boss Falzone promotes Gus, another mobster, above him. This is a disaster for Michael. With Gus as the new boss of the PI programme, the escape plan faces another serious hurdle.

When his brother Lincoln is sentenced to death for a crime he didn't commit, structural engineer Michael Scofield sets out to unravel the shadowy conspiracy that framed him as, hiding everything he needs to know quite literally up his sleeve, he joins the ranks of the notorious Fox River State Penetentiary and takes justice into his own hands.
