Now Melinda Messenger and Dominic Littlewood are standing up for aggrieved consumers everywhere by running the cowboys out of town. Each episode of Cowboy Builders focuses on the owners of one home that has suffered at the hands of unreliable workmen. It could be that they have been saddled with a crumbling extension, an illegal loft conversion, a destroyed bathroom or a gutted kitchen - but whichever way, these helpless homeowners are in dire need of help.
Melinda, with over ten years' experience as a property developer, takes charge of a makeover of the property to surpass all expectations. Dominic, meanwhile, hunts down the errant cowboys before they can strike again and confronts them with evidence of their shoddy workmanship.
Throughout the programme, the presenters also use their expertise to advise viewers on how to carry out a successful building project - from hiring the right firm to how to get good deals on materials. Perhaps most importantly of all, Melinda and Dom offer tips on what to do if it all starts going wrong - and how to put it right.
