Vital statistics: Aged 29, height 5'11, lives East Yorkshire
Type of farm: My farm is an arable one, situated in a beautiful Yorkshire setting. I also run a haulage business. The farm is a family one that's been in the family for many generations – not quite sure how many.
Relationship status: I'm currently single. I don't have kids as yet, but I'd definitely like to have some one day. Family is quite a big deal to me.
Living arrangements: I live on my own
Drink / smoke: I do enjoy a drink but I don't smoke – in fact I hate smoking.
Pets: I've got a black labrador called Jack – he's a bit on the unruly side and tends to pay more attention to my parents than me, but I love him anyway.
Likes: Quite a few, really. I enjoy travelling, playing rugby, skiing, cinema, literature, shooting, socialising in pubs with close friends and occasionally going to nightclubs. Another thing which is very important to me in my life is spending time with my nephews and godson – I'm very close to my family.
Dislikes: Smoking is a big no-no, and me being the sort of down to earth, gentle person I am, I've got no time for arrogance.
What life's like on my farm? Every day here on the farm is different – it's a huge variety of work, so I guess there's not really such a thing as a typical day. It's certainly a physical outdoors job, which I definitely enjoy, and of course my haulage work also keeps me busy. The best thing about it is the freedom to be your own boss. I love farming and I really wouldn't want to do anything else. It would be lovely to bring someone down here to show them everything – it's a great life.
