"I'm laid back and up for a laugh, good craic and down to earth – I would say I'm definitely a fan of blondes (both livestock and human), but that shouldn't put any of the girls off getting in touch."
Vital statistics: Aged 24, height 6'0, lives Co Down, N Ireland
Type of farm: I farm pedigree cattle – I'm the proud breeder of a herd of cattle known as the British Blond – they've won lots of awards, and are my pride and joy.
Relationship status: I'm currently single and I don't have any kids.
Living arrangements: I live with my parents on the farm – it's quite a big house, however, so there's lots of room.
Drink / smoke: I do enjoy a social drink – I'm definitely not a smoker however.
Pets: I've got a lovely springer spaniel called Brandy, who I'm very fond of – he's really like part of the family.
Likes: I have a long list of likes, as I'm a pretty active guy – I love all kinds of sport, skiing, socialising with my mates, and naturally looking after the blondes (by which I'm referring to my cattle). I also really get the most out of competing in the agricultural shows, and spending time with my little nephews and nieces – family life is very important to me.
Dislikes: I'm not a fan of smoking, and arrogant people and know-it-alls can put my back up a wee bit as well.
What's life like on my farm? Life here on the farm is wonderful. Hard work, of course, but fun, and as mentioned the showing of my cattle is definitely one of the most enjoyable aspects of it – it also means I get to travel round the country quite a bit, and it's a very sociable way of life. The grooming of the animals is obviously very important and takes up quite a bit of the time as does taking them to all the main agricultural shows – my Blondes definitely get the pampering treatment.
