Episode 2: Willie
This week’s romance-hungry farmer is 24-year-old Willie. The mild-mannered mummy’s boy sifts through a pile of hopeful applicants before drawing up a shortlist of four. After spending time with each of the girls, he selects bubbly blonde Sarah Jane and leggy horse trainer Gabbie as his two finalists. The girls help out around the farm and assist with such tricky matters as bull mating, tractor driving and artificial insemination. Along the way, they wash a cow, attend a cattle show and even join in a family party.
As the girls take it in turn to impress their farmer, they find themselves embroiled in a deepening love triangle. Sarah Jane starts off well while Gabbie takes some time to come out of her shell. Once she does, however, she gives her rival a run for her money. But which of these two aspiring farmer’s wives will capture Willie’s heart?

Louise Redknapp presents a six-part series following single lovelorn farmers looking to find a mate. Potential partners must live on the farms of their suitors for five days taking on the challenges of modern farm life and finding out if love can blossom in the barnyards and pigsties of rural Britain.
